How listings are ordered

1Sponsored (paid, rotates)

Up to 6 local businesses per trade per county pay to sponsor the site. They're always labeled "Sponsored". They take turns in the top spot: each page load moves the next sponsor to #1, so every sponsor gets the same share of first place.

2Claimed (kept up to date by the owner, rotates)

Businesses whose owner claimed the listing and keeps it up to date. They're labeled "Claimed by owner" and shuffled into a new order on every page load. Claiming is free.

3Everyone else (rotates)

Every other local business we list, shuffled on every page load, so nobody looks like they own the top. Nobody is ever dropped from the directory.

What money can and can't buy

• Sponsors pay for a place in the sponsor block, and nothing else. Order below the sponsors is never for sale.
• Nobody can buy a trust badge. A listing is not an endorsement.
• Where a trade needs a Florida license, we show the number so you can check it at myfloridalicense.com.
